LLLC-Winnipeg West Evening Meetings
Our evening meetings are the second Wed. in every month at 7:30pm. Note: there is NO evening meeting in August. We also have a morning meeting at another location. Please see our other entry. http://www.lllc.ca/la-leche-league-winnipeg-west-morning-meetings // We are parent-flexible. Don't worry about being late or having to leave early. Your family comes first and we are happy to see you. // Small nutritious snacks are always welcome at meetings, if you have time. Nothing ambitious is required. (Nothing with nuts, please.) // We are grateful to St. Aidan's Church for donating meeting space to our group. // Would you like to receive email reminders of LLL Winnipeg West meetings? You can sign up here to receive them: http://eepurl.com/gyw2 We do not provide your contact information to ANYONE else, ever. Note: this is not the same as signing up to get regular newsletters and information from LLL Canada, which you can find elsewhere on this site.// Our Manitoba Helpline is 204-257-3509. Please leave a message and a Leader will return your call. Meeting schedule 2015
If you are interested in breastfeeding, you are welcome to attend La Leche League meetings. Anytime is a good time to come to a meeting, whether you are pregnant, have a new baby or are needing support or information beyond the first few months. Babies and young children are always welcome. Some Groups include father/partners in some or all of their meetings; see the "Meeting For" category above or contact a local Leader for meeting details.
We discuss all breastfeeding-related topics at our meetings: from how and why to breastfeed, family life with a new baby, practical breastfeeding tips, nutrition, weaning and much more. Bring your breastfeeding questions and concerns, joys and challenges to share, or just listen if you prefer.
All La Leche League Canada Leaders are volunteers. We are experienced breastfeeding mothers who are trained to provide up-to-date breastfeeding information, encouragement and support.
For More Information: Contact a local La Leche League Leader for breastfeeding help or for more details about meetings. Please call during daytime/early evening hours if possible. For EMERGENCY situations please contact a healthcare provider in your community.
If you have received help from La Leche League, we would appreciate your support in the form of a donation so we can continue to help others breastfeed. Thank you!
