NOTES:

Hello, Beamsville meetings are now taking place in St Catharines. Please contact for more information.

If you are a woman who is interested in breastfeeding, you are most welcome to attend our meetings. Any time is a good time to come to a La Leche League meeting, whether you are pregnant, have a new baby or are considering weaning. Babies and young children are always welcome. Some Groups include father/partners in some or all of their meetings; see the "Meeting For" category above or contact a local Leader for details.

We discuss all sorts of breastfeeding-related topics at our meetings: from reasons to consider breastfeeding in the first place, to family life with a new baby, to practical breastfeeding tips, to nutrition, weaning and more. Bring your breastfeeding questions and concerns, joys and challenges to share, or just listen if you prefer.

All La Leche League Canada Leaders are volunteers. We are experienced breastfeeding mothers who are trained to provide up-to-date breastfeeding information, encouragement and support.

For More Information: Contact a local La Leche League Leader for breastfeeding help or for more details about meetings. Please call during daytime/early evening hours if possible. For EMERGENCY situations please contact a healthcare provider in your community.
