An accredited La Leche League Leader is present every Wednesday at the GEFC when the door is unlocked at of 11:00 A.M. to admit guests to the waiting room before guest service begins at 12:00 noon.
Between 11:00 am and 11:45 am, the GEFC provides the use of an office for the La Leche League Leader and parent(s) to address questions and concerns in a private space Thereafter, questions and concerns are addressed in the friendly waiting room.
Priority is given to the breast and chestfeeding questions of guests of the Gloucester Emergency Food Cupboard; and others are welcome.
This group invites residents of the neighbourhood to consider hosting a meeting in their home, place of worship or other suitable venue, please email us.
LLLC meetings - You are always welcome to attend LLLC meetingsbefore and after you have welcomed your baby. Bring your breastfeeding/chestfeeding questions and concerns, talk about your joys and challenges or come and just listen. Babies and young children are always welcome, and some Groups include father/partners and support persons in some or all of their meetings.
All La Leche League Canada Leaders are volunteers. They are experienced breastfeeding/chestfeeding parents who have been accredited to provide up-to-date breastfeeding/chestfeeding information, encouragement and support.
