This is a prenatal breastfeeding class providing preparation and education for expectant parents and their partners or support person.

Are you pregnant? Do you want to learn about ways to reach your breastfeeding or chestfeeding goals? La Leche League Canada offers prenatal breastfeeding classes for you (the breastfeeding/chestfeeding parent) and your partner or support person, delivered by nationally accredited La Leche League Canada Leaders (breastfeeding educators).

The session is virtual and will run from 1-3 p.m. Email follow-up is provided.

Join Susan and Amanda to learn about: ֍ The advantages of breastfeeding for parent, baby, family and community ֍ Avoiding and overcoming difficulties ֍ Optimizing positioning and latch ֍ Adjusting to life with a breastfed baby ֍ Normal breastfed baby behaviour.

In-Person Meetings: (due to Covid-19 restrictions) in-person meetings have been suspended.

All LLLC meetings information: You are always welcome to attend LLLC meetings before and after you have welcomed your baby. Bring your breastfeeding/chestfeeding questions and concerns, talk about your joys and challenges or come and just listen. Babies and young children are always welcome, and some Groups include father/partners and support persons in some or all of their meetings. 

All La Leche League Canada Leaders are volunteers. They are experienced breastfeeding/chestfeeding parents who have been accredited to provide up-to-date breastfeeding/chestfeeding information, encouragement and support.
