La Leche League Canada is a registered non-profit that provides mother-to-mother/parent-to-parent/peer support for pregnant people, new parents and beyond. Connection and respect are at the heart of what we do and we strive to ensure that all families are welcomed and reflected in every aspect of La Leche League Canada, including in our accredited Leaders. We believe that nobody knows your baby or family better than you and that everyone deserves the right circle of support in which to raise their children.
There is no charge to receive support from a Leader, attend meetings or borrow reading material, however, your support for LLLC is very much appreciated in the form of a donation www.lllc.ca/lllc-Saanich_Peninsula/donate. Financially assisting this volunteer run organization means you are helping La Leche League to continue to help breastfeeding/chestfeeding families in the future.
LLLC meetings - You are always welcome to attend LLLC meetingsbefore and after you have welcomed your baby. Bring your breastfeeding/chestfeeding questions and concerns, talk about your joys and challenges or come and just listen. Babies and young children are always welcome, and some Groups include father/partners and support persons in some or all of their meetings.
All La Leche League Canada Leaders are volunteers. They are experienced breastfeeding/chestfeeding parents who have been accredited to provide up-to-date breastfeeding/chestfeeding information, encouragement and support.
For More Information: Contact a local La Leche League Leader in the Find a Group/Leader section.
If you have received help from La Leche League, we would appreciate your support in the form of a donation so we can continue to help others breastfeed. Thank you!
