NOTES

La Leche League Series Meetings are open to all interested breastfeeding parents (pregnant, nursing and otherwise). Series meetings tend to focus on nursing during the first year. Parents nursing children of any age are always welcome and encouraged to come share triumphs and trials, enjoy parent to parent support, gather information and form relationships with other nursing parents.

ENRICHMENT MEETINGS are available for those looking for further information, support and friendship on topics within the La Leche League Philosophies.

“Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance at an LLLC meeting. LLLC is committed to following local and provincial (or territorial) guidelines for gatherings. We ask that anyone who does not feel comfortable with the safety guidelines stated by the local and provincial governments and in the LLLC policies that apply to in-person gatherings please refrain from attending an in-person meeting and instead access one of our many virtual options. Information about our virtual meetings can be found at lllc.ca/calendar.” The LLLC privacy statement: “To respect the privacy of all people in attendance, we will not ask about vaccination status at any point in our meeting. However, we understand that you may have questions about vaccinations as they relate to breastfeeding/human milk. LLLC Leaders are volunteers and not vaccine experts, so we encourage you to check out the resources available from leading public health agencies on our website.

Healthcare professionals and students wanting to attend will need to reach out to the Leader of the Group in advance. Registration will need to be completed prior to attending.
