What does being on the Board involve? 

  • Our Board meets virtually once a month.
  • The time commitment is flexible, averaging up to 10 hours per week, though some weeks may be lighter or busier depending on the work.
  • Directors are expected to participate in collaborative decision-making, uphold our policies, and help guide the direction of the organization.

Who are we looking for?
We welcome Leaders and Alumni with a broad range of skills and lived experiences. You don’t need to be an expert in governance, just bring your passion, your voice, and your willingness to learn and collaborate. Experience in fundraising, outreach, equity work, communications, or nonprofit leadership is especially valued.

How to Apply:
Interested candidates should request the Director Candidate Information Packet, which includes:

  • A short biographical profile
  • A questionnaire about your experience and vision for LLLC
  • Two letters of recommendation (ideally one from an LLLC Leader)
  • A signed Director Code of Conduct Disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest
