A. Allaitement 101

Vous attendez un bébé? Vous vous adaptez à votre nouveau rôle de mère ou père? Cet atelier animé par deux monitrices LLL, Mélanie Melanson-Wilson, LLL-Dieppe et LLLC-Moncton et Kate Selig, LLLC-Saint John, présentera des informations de base sur l'allaitement, des idées pour vous aider dans la transition du couple à la famille, et des suggestions pour être parent la nuit comme le jour. Venez avec vos questions et vos suggestions!

B. It Takes a Village

It takes a village to raise a child... but how do you find the support you need when your new baby is crying at 3 am, or your older child needs you right now? In this session, Carrie Clem, a Leader with the LLLC-Berwick Group in rural Nova Scotia, will explore ways to build a supportive network. Learn how a new baby's parents, siblings, grandparents, family friends, and breastfeeding supporters can work together to create a loving community and meet the needs of the whole family. 

C. Making Breastfeeding Work When You Do

When parents return to the workplace or school, or take on new volunteer or work-at-home responsibilities, the work-life balance tilts—especially when there is a breastfeeding baby or toddler in the mix! Share your experiences with LLLC-Dartmouth Leader Cynthia Mann, who has combined working and breastfeeding in a variety of ways. You'll get lots of ideas about preparing your family for the transition, deciding what and how to feed your child, dealing with schedules and night-waking, etc.
