Join Sondra for an engaging and compassionate workshop designed to deepen understanding and build confidence in supporting neurodiverse families on their breastfeeding journey. Together, we’ll explore what neurodiversity really means, how sensory needs, communication styles, and executive functioning can shape feeding experiences, and what practical steps we can take to make support more inclusive. Whether you’re a peer supporter, practitioner, or community helper, this session will offer insights, reflection, and tools to help every family feel seen, understood, and supported, right where they are.
Sondra Marcon is a psychotherapist and maternal mental health advocate with a passion for supporting families through the perinatal journey. As a mom of two, she brings both professional insight and lived experience to her work. Sondra understands the complex mix of love, exhaustion, identity shifts, and emotional challenges that often accompany early parenthood.
With a background in counselling, birth support, and community education, she helps parents navigate anxiety, attachment, and self-compassion in the early years. Her approach blends clinical knowledge with real-world understanding, creating space for honest conversations.
