La Leche League Canada (LLLC) acknowledges that not all people use the words 'mother' and ‘breastfeeding’ to describe their own experiences. LLLC uses the words 'mother', 'breastfeeding', 'nursing' and 'nursing parent' in our materials. LLLC Leaders will use the words individuals prefer in personal communication.
