NOTES:

GARGANTUAN GARAGE SALE NOTICE!

This year's Gargantuan Fundraising Garage Sale for La Leche League will take place on the weekend of August 18th, 19th and 20th (Saturday to Monday!!). I would LOVE and GREATLY APPRECIATE  it if you could please forward this notice hither and yon and to all your wonderful contacts.

Please save/reserve/store/squirrel away any and all sell-able items and drop them off in my driveway beginning on Tuesday the 14th of August, not before that. I am thrilled to sell anything and everything; however, please ensure the items are in good order and condition. The address is 1128 Topaz Avenue at Prior Street and the driveway is on Prior.

The Sale itself will be Saturday August 18th, Sunday August 19th and Monday August 20th from 8am until 3pm each day. Early birds on Saturday will be encouraged to help me remove and arrange items. Come and shop! Everyone gets a terrific deal! Items will all be FREE at 3pm on Monday August 20th.

If you wish to set up your own sale here, you are most welcome! There is lots of room but please bring your own tables and shelter and reserve your space soon.

Questions, concerns and comments? Email or call me at 250-588-9772

LLLC meetings - You are always welcome to attend LLLC meetings before and after you have had your baby. Bring your breastfeeding questions and concerns, talk about your joys and challenges or come and just listen. Babies and young children are always welcome, and some Groups include father/partners in some or all of their meetings.

All La Leche League Canada Leaders are volunteers. They are experienced breastfeeding mothers who have been accredited to provide up-to-date breastfeeding information, encouragement and support.

For More Information: Contact a local La Leche League Leader in the Find a Group/Leader section.

If you have received help from La Leche League, we would appreciate your support in the form of a donation so we can continue to help others breastfeed. Thank you!

To encourage, promote and provide mother-to-mother breastfeeding support and educational opportunities as an important contribution to the health of children, families and society. Mothering through breastfeeding is the most natural and effective way of understanding and satisfying the needs of the baby.
