We recommend joining us in person for any concerns about adjusting your baby's latch to be comfortable. Many mothers also find the in-person experience to allow for deeper social connections. There are age appropriate toys available for older infants and toddlers in the Children's Room where we meet. Seating is on soft interlocking tiles of the kind one often sees in children's playrooms or gyms.

Our meetings are generally conducted in English. One of our 4 accredited Co-Leaders speaks Arabic as her first language. Two are bilingual English/French, with English as their first language. Leaders will use whichever language(s) best serve those in attendance. If our Arabic speaking Leader is absent, the AMA Centre may be able to provide an Arabic speaking interpreter. Please let us know if you will need service in Arabic. Bangla and/or Somali interpretation may be available with sufficient advance notice thanks to the AMA Centre.
Please enter the AMA Centre through the Community Hall Entrance on the basement level, north side (closest to Hunt Club Road). Please leave your boots and stroller just inside that entrance, and carry your baby within the building.
The building is of recent construction and should be barrier free, however, we have yet to host a participant who uses a wheel chair. If you roll yourself to get around, please write to Ottawa.south@lllc.ca so we can provide you with a cell phone number to call if you encounter any unexpected barriers.
