Our meetings are text-based discussion groups, with four general monthly topics that repeat throughout the year. The topics are 1. Advantages of Breastfeeding, 2. The Baby Arrives; the Family and the Breastfed Baby, 3. The Art of Breastfeeding and Avoiding Difficulties, and 4. Nutrition and Weaning. You can start attending at any time; you do not have to wait for meeting #1. There is always time to have breastfeeding questions answered, no matter what the topic is. A call or email to a Leader can often answer your questions and concerns. If you leave a message for a Leader and your call isn't returned within 24 hours, please phone again or try any other Leader. Contact information for LLL Chatham Leaders is on the following webpage: https://www.lllc.ca/lllc-chatham.
We meet from 11:30am to 1:00pm on the third Wednesday of each month.
All LLLC meetings information: You are always welcome to attend LLLC meetings before and after you have welcomed your baby. Bring your breastfeeding/chestfeeding questions and concerns, talk about your joys and challenges or come and just listen. Babies and young children are always welcome, and some Groups include father/partners and support persons in some or all of their meetings.
