Led by nationally accredited La Leche League Canada Leaders (breastfeeding educators).  Classes are free and partners/support people are welcome.

  • Overcoming challenges

Purchase of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding is very much recommended 😊  A limited number are available from LLLC-Kelowna Leaders (portion of proceeds to LLLC-Kelowna).  Also available online and as an audio book.

Welcome to the La Leche League Hull group!

Becoming a parent is a transformational experience. Feeling heard, supported and loved during this vulnerable time of life is essential! Breastfeeding can have many highs and lows- being able to talk about your unique experience in a safe space can be reassuring and healing.

You and your family are welcome to join us every second Saturday of the month (starting June, 2022). Siblings and partners are more than welcome.

We are a group of families who are interested in breastfeeding, currently breastfeeding, or have breastfed. Our safe space is available for sharing, questions, and concerns. 

Meetings are not the only way to feel supported- contact the Hull group through e-mail, virtual one-on-one meetings, or via phone. Please feel free to reach out with any questions and thoughts.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Class

A prenatal breastfeeding class providing preparation and education for expectant parents and their partners or support person.

Are you pregnant? Do you want to learn about ways to reach your breastfeeding or chestfeeding goals? La Leche League Canada offers prenatal breastfeeding classes for you (the breastfeeding/chestfeeding parent) and your partner or support person delivered by nationally accredited La Leche League Canada Leaders (breastfeeding educators).

All Dates run @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm *All gatherings and prenatal sessions will be virtual

The Virtual Prenatal Class will run for two - two hour sessions on Tuesday November 22 and Tuesday November 29 from 7:30 - 9:30

In addition to topics of preparing to breastfeed, chestfeed, or human milk feed, how to know baby is doing well and challenges.  This session will include additional topics that may meet the needs of expectant parents including – Co-Nursing, Induced Lactation, Human Milk Feeding, Gender Dysphoria and Chestfeeding, Chestfeeding  and Breastfeeding Goals, Binding and additional resources.
